THE JOB We are seeking a Financial Analyst for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. This position is responsible for supporting the full-cycle forecasting and month-end analysis process and serves as a key financial partner to regional booking and operational teams.

The Financial Analyst will independently evaluate financial and operational information, develop and incorporate forecast assumptions, identify trends and risks, and provide recommendations to Finance and business leadership. The role requires sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage recurring responsibilities and ad hoc requests with limited day-to-day supervision.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO • Manage key components of the monthly business unit forecast process, including event analysis, non-event revenue analysis, fixed cost analysis and venue-level performance evaluation • Serve as a primary Finance contact for booking teams, gathering and evaluating operational information and determining the appropriate assumptions to incorporate into forecasts. • Independently assess forecast inputs and adjust assumptions based on business developments, historical performance, identified trends, and communication with booking and operational partners. • Prepare monthly forecast packs and provide meaningful commentary regarding financial performance, risks, opportunities, and material changes in assumptions. • Participate in annual budget process, including historical analysis, development of business targets and initiatives, evaluation of underlying assumptions, and preparation of budget presentation materials. • Partner with the accounting team during month end to provide meaningful analysis focused on event CM variances, non-event CM variances, and fixed cost variance. • Prepare month-end financial walks and independently investigate significant variances, identify underlying business drivers, and communicate conclusions to Finance and business leadership. • Review lines of business, regions, venues, and events to identify performance trends, emerging risks, and financial opportunities. • Develop customized and ad hoc reporting that responds to leadership requests or provides additional insight based on independently identified patterns and trends. • Ensure financial analysis and reporting are completed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, and applicable Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. • Recommend improvements to forecasting, reporting, analytical processes, and financial controls when opportunities are identified. • Manage multiple recurring deadlines and ad hoc projects with limited supervision, determining the appropriate analytical approach based on the nature and significance of each assignment. • Assist with additional financial and strategic projects as assigned.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, forecasting, budgeting or related financial function. • Experience supportive live events, entertainment, venues or similar operations business is preferred • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including spreadsheet and database software as appropriate. • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Must be flexible, self-starter, change-oriented, self-motivated team player.
