THE JOB The US Concerts Analytics team supports leaders across the business with the data, analysis, and tools needed to make better commercial and operational decisions. As an Analyst, you love using data to solve problems. You are able to translate complex and often ambiguous business questions into clear, supportable insights, and convey those insights to senior business leaders. You will play a hands-on role in building and improving recurring reports, executive-facing presentations, and operational dashboards that enable our organization to better understand performance and make strategic decisions. You will also play a key role in organizing and validating data across our BI tools and other reporting. You will work across functions and data sources, with regular exposure to senior leaders, and may support areas including pricing, talent, touring, forecasting, and data management. This role is well suited for a self-starter who combines strong technical fundamentals with curiosity (especially within the entertainment industry), sound judgement, and a high standard for work product.
This position is subject to an initial six-month probationary period, during which performance, capabilities and mutual fit for the role will be evaluated. A formal review will take place at the conclusion of the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will transition to regular employment status.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO • Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support the US Concerts division, with an emphasis on accuracy, scalability, and automation • Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries that combine multiple data sources to answer business questions and power reporting • Integrate AI tools as a core part of the workflow to accelerate, automate, and quality-check analytical work while independently validating methodology, logic, and outputs • Identify insights that can lead to unique or new analyses that will provide stakeholders with ideas to support business decisions • Partner cross-functionally with business, finance, operations, and technical teams to define questions, align on assumptions, and deliver useful analytical solutions • Develop executive-ready presentations and concise written materials that communicate complex analyses to business stakeholders and leadership • Design and document reporting processes, definitions, and controls that improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and scalability • Monitor data for completeness and accuracy; investigate data or reporting issues, reconcile discrepancies, and work to resolve root causes • Support additional initiatives, ad-hoc analyses, and troubleshooting as needed
TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS • SQL (required – high proficiency): independently write, troubleshoot, and optimize multi-source queries involving joins, filters, grouping, and aggregations • Systems thinking: understands how source data, reporting logic, and final outputs connect to one another, so any number in a report can be traced back to its source; able to review existing formulas, queries, or dashboards and navigate BI tools to explain how outputs are produced • Excel (required – high proficiency): build and maintain complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and dynamic array functions (e.g., FILTER, UNIQUE, XLOOKUP) • AI tools (required): hands-on use of AI agents to accelerate, automate, and quality-check analytical work, with independent verification of outputs for accuracy • Experience with Databricks, Tableau, and code-based programming (Python, R, etc.) is a plus
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role such as management consulting, investment banking, data science, data analytics, or a related field • Ability to break down complex business questions into clear analytical steps and develop thoughtful, supportable, data-driven answers • Self-sufficient problem solver who independently moves work forward, manages priorities, and evaluates solutions and next steps while still raising risks early, and knowing when to seek input • Strong Attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate data • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across functions with business stakeholders, support fellow team members, and contribute to shared goals • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical partners, business stakeholders, and senior leadership • Adaptability and learning agility, with a track record of building new technical skills and business knowledge through research, practice, and feedback • Willing to work when necessary to help get overall team goals accomplished • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Economics, Statistics, IT, or related quantitative field) • Experience in live entertainment, ticketing, media, sports, hospitality, or another transaction-driven consumer business is a pl
