Remote | Independent Contractor | Federal Contract

eScribers is seeking 30 experienced legal transcribers to support a federal contract. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for reliable professionals with strong transcription, grammar, punctuation, and listening skills.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must :

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Possess a REAL ID or current, valid U.S. passport.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Be willing to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Have a Windows-based computer running Windows 10 or later.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Have an active, current version of Microsoft Word.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Have at least two years of transcription experience.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Type at a minimum of 55 words per minute.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Demonstrate excellent grammar and punctuation skills.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Have exceptional listening and comprehension skills.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Commit to transcribing at least 200 audio minutes per week.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Maintain consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Have a compatible USB foot pedal, such as the Infinity IN-USB-2 or IN-USB-3.

Compensation and Contractor Details

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Transcribers are paid by the page at competitive rates.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> This position is classified as an independent contractor opportunity.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Contractors are paid weekly by direct deposit after submitting timely invoices.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Additional bonus opportunities may be available.
