Job Duties: The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Austin E.   Cofrin   School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a 9-month instructor position in Finance for the academic year 2026-27. The Austin E.   Cofrin   School of Business values university-level teaching experience, CFA designations,   k nowledge of and experience using finance and capital market software (e. g. Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct,   or   FactSet) the ability to teach a variety of classes in the Finance curriculum, engagement in institutional, community, and professional service, and experience working in the world of business.

This position will   be responsible for   enhancing UW-Green Bay’s mission-driven inclusive teaching efforts and creating and   maintaining   an educational environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.  

Key Job Responsibilities: • Teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in financial planning and finance.

• Mentor students in the “transcripts to resumes” program.

• Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank. 

• Perform institutional and community service,

• Contribute to ongoing program development within the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business

• Participate fully in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business’ AACSB accreditation efforts.

Department: Cofrin School of Business

Compensation: Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Required Qualifications: • Doctorate/ABD status from an institution supporting an AACSB accredited business school, or   Master’s Degree in Finance or Business   with a specialization in Finance plus 3+ years of relevant professional experience.  

• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching  

• Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.

Conditions of Appointment: The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to teach a course or work at the Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs. Courses will be taught both face-to-face and online (in asynchronous and synchronous formats). The specific courses taught may vary from semester to semester.

Position is a full-time, one academic year, Instructional Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s).
