About this role
Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Replit is where millions of people learn to build software - and our documentation and learning content are where they get going or give up. We're taking ownership of that experience, and we're looking for a Learning Experience Creator who can make it worthy of the product: someone who turns product knowledge into experiences people actually use - clear written docs, guided learning, short video, interactive experiences - findable at the moment of need, accurate every time, and genuinely enjoyable.
You're a learning-experience creator first. You understand how people actually learn a product - what they're trying to accomplish, where they get stuck, what format serves each moment - and you move fluidly between writing a crisp help article, designing a hands-on walkthrough, and producing a short video. Underneath it all, you're a storyteller: you know how to earn attention in the first few seconds, hold it against real-world attention spans, and make ideas stick - and sometimes make something people can't help but share. You're also a builder: unafraid to try new formats and experiment, you read the data and listen to customers, and you continually improve and evolve with speed as our product evolves. You'll turn complex things into simple, useful experiences, and you'll own how well they land.
The Mission: help every user - external customers and internal teams - self-serve to reach their creative and business goals, with content so good, so current, and so findable that they don't need to open a ticket. Success looks like real ticket deflection, faster activation, and high CSAT.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- New documentation and learning content. You'll populate our documentation and learning surfaces with new, accurate, plain-language content - help articles, answer-first FAQs, goal-based tutorials, and rebuilt getting-started paths - prioritized by real reader and ticket data, made at volume with the help of our AI- native content tools.
- The content lifecycle. Content isn't done when it ships. You'll keep the library current through every product launch - freshness reviews, launch-day updates, retiring what's stale - so nothing published contradicts the product. Our pipeline flags what's drifting; you own making it right.
- Learning experiences across formats. Written first where reading serves best - plus short-form video, microlearning, interactive courses, quick walkthroughs, GIFs, and in-product tips. You pick the format that fits the job, not the other way around, and you bring a storyteller's instinct for attention and memorability to every one - learning content competes with everything else on someone's screen, and yours wins. You keep pushing into new, innovative experiences as our tools grow.
- A content calendar built for effectiveness. You plan what gets made and when - covering the topics customers most need help with, sequenced for maximum impact, so the library actually answers the questions people are asking.
- Findability. You make sure content is easy to discover - titled, tagged, and structured so people (and the AI assistants that read our docs) find the right answer through search, at the moment of need. Great content nobody can find doesn't deflect anything, and this is yours to own.
- Engagement and outcomes. You care whether it worked - reader feedback, findability, completion and watch-through, self-serve resolution, deflection, CSAT - and you tune the calendar and the craft based on what the data and customers tell you.
- A recognizable voice. A consistent, human style across docs, learning, and video that makes every piece feel like part of one connected experience, whether someone reads a single article or completes a whole course.
HOW YOU'LL WORK WITH THE TEAM
This role is a force-multiplier - it makes the whole team's knowledge reach people. You won't work alone:
• With our Technical Customer Education Specialist for accuracy and depth - they bring the technical truth; you turn it into clear, findable content people trust and enjoy.
• With our Sr. Learning Experience Lead on what content is needed and what's working - they own the learning platform, journeys, and measurement; you read the same effectiveness data to steer the calendar.
• With our docs and product partners on launches - so new features ship with accurate, ready content on day one, not weeks later.
• With the hiring manager and the wider team to scale our content capability together, so the sum is greater than the parts.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A proven learning-content creator. A portfolio of documentation, tutorials, courses, or product education that people actually used and learned from - across at least two formats, with written content among them. You understand clarity, structure, and story, and you can prove it.
• A strong writer. You make complex or dry topics genuinely clear and engaging in plain language, with warmth and a point of view. Docs people want to read are your craft.
• A gifted storyteller, across media. You understand hooks, pacing, attention spans, and what makes content memorable - sometimes shareable, occasionally viral - and you apply that craft to written, video, and interactive work alike. It shows up in a doc's first sentence as much as a video's first five seconds.
• A capable short-form video creator. Video is one of your formats - you understand watchability and modern platform sensibilities, and you're comfortable producing (on or off camera) with AI-assisted workflows.
• A builder and experimenter. You try new formats and ideas, take calculated content risks, glean insights from data and customers, and continually improve - determining the right approach even
