Job Summary

TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Aviation team in the northeast. This role provides the opportunity to lead the delivery of some of the region's most complex airport and transportation infrastructure programs, working alongside airport authorities, public agencies, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

This position is ideal for an experienced owner's representative or construction program professional who excels at managing complex stakeholder environments, overseeing project delivery, and driving major capital programs from planning through construction and closeout.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities   • Lead the planning and execution of complex aviation infrastructure projects throughout all phases of project delivery.    • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, designers, contractors, regulatory   agencies   and project stakeholders.    • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk   registers   and overall project performance.    • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams to ensure successful project delivery.    • Oversee procurement activities, consultant and contractor management, and contract administration.    • Review and negotiate change orders, cost estimates, payment   applications   and project forecasts.    • Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, safety,   schedule   and budget objectives are achieved.    • Lead project meetings and prepare executive-level reports and presentations for client leadership.    • Coordinate permitting, utility coordination and stakeholder engagement activities.    • Support procurement strategies including Design-Bid-Build, Design- Build   and alternative delivery projects.    • Mentor junior project managers and technical staff while fostering collaboration across project teams.    • Build and   maintain   strong client relationships that support long-term business growth.   

Qualifications  

Required   • Bachelor's degree in Architecture , Engineering, Construction   Management   or related discipline.    • Approximately 10+ years of progressively responsible experience managing large capital infrastructure projects.    • Demonstrated experience delivering complex   public-sector   capital programs.    • Strong background in construction management, project controls,   budgeting   and scheduling.    • Experience administering   consultant   and construction contracts.    • Knowledge of procurement processes, change   management   and contract administration.    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.    • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.    • Proficiency   with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain.   

Preferred   • Experience delivering aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.    • Experience working with airport authorities, transportation   agencies   or other public owners.    • Knowledge of FAA, Port   Authority   or other major aviation client standards.    • Architectural, engineering or construction management background.    • Experience supporting Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build projects.    • OSHA Certification.

  Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of  $160,000 - $200,000 annually for this position and local market.
