Job Description Join the U.S. Bank In-House Agency and help create compelling visual experiences that connect with customers across digital, social, print, and emerging channels.
We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer who combines strong design fundamentals with curiosity, creativity, and a passion for problem-solving. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to a wide range of marketing and brand initiatives. You'll partner with writers, strategists, project managers, and fellow creatives to develop impactful work that supports business goals while elevating the U.S. Bank brand. Position Summary:
As a Graphic Designer, you will concept and create high-quality visual communications that inspire, inform, and engage our audiences. You'll execute creative solutions across a variety of channels while ensuring all work aligns with U.S. Bank brand standards and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is an exceptional visual thinker with strong design skills, attention to detail, and a passion for evolving creative craft. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects, collaborating across teams, and embracing new tools and technologies that improve efficiency and creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop visually compelling creative assets across digital, social, print, display advertising, presentations, and other marketing channels.
• Partner with copywriters, strategists, creative directors, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful visual solutions.
• Execute designs that are aligned with brand standards while supporting business and marketing objectives.
• Contribute to campaign development by bringing strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills.
• Design content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
• Create marketing materials that deliver strong customer experiences and drive engagement.
• Prepare production-ready files and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across all deliverables.
• Apply feedback constructively and iterate designs based on stakeholder and creative team input.
• Utilize AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, creativity, and speed-to-market.
• Maintain a strong understanding of design trends, platform best practices, and evolving customer expectations.
• Help evolve design systems, templates, and creative resources that improve consistency and scalability.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and positive creative culture.
• Ability to clearly present design rationale, clarify feedback, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and creative partners.
Preferred Skills/Experience: • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital, social, and print design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, and brand systems.
• Experience designing for digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience with Figma and collaborative design workflows.
• Familiarity with Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, or other AI-powered creative tools.
• Motion graphics, animation, or video editing experience.
• Experience working within established brand systems.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or Graphic Design certificate, or equivalent work experience
• Five or more years of design experience

Location Expectations: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
