The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Software Security Engineer, in the field of Anti-Tamper. This position will support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. 

Position Overview: The Boeing Company is seeking innovative engineers to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms. Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

Position Responsibilities: • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems • Lead the development of secure software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures. •  Support and be accountable to program engineering leads and management in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns. • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• 9+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java • 1+ years of experience of technical leadership • 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (GitLab, Jira) • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.

Preferred Qualifications: • 14+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java • 5+ years of experience of technical leadership including collaboration across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment • 1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab, Jira or similar) • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment • Experience with cryptography and other security protocols • Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper

Shift (US Specific): This position is for 1st shift

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and aligns to the site standard 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees to work a nine-hour shift Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off. This position requires that you work on-site out of Oklahoma City, OK and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required.
