About this role

As the Lead, Early Talent Recruiting Coordination, you will lead a high-performing team that delivers global internship and new graduate hiring. You will own the coordination operating model from intake through offer-stage support, develop the team, strengthen the systems and partnerships that enable growth, and improve the experience for candidates and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an operationally minded leader who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and creating simple, effective systems in a fast-paced, global environment. You will balance regional needs with global priorities and help shape how MongoDB scales its early talent programs, recruiting operations, and industry engagement.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model.

• Manage capacity, workload allocation, regional coverage, and development plans in partnership with Recruiting leadership.

Own Global Coordination Operations

• Own the global operating model for Early Talent recruiting coordination, including intake, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer-stage support.

• Establish service standards, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and documentation that enable reliable delivery across regions.

• Forecast hiring demand and coordinate workload and resources to maintain service quality during peak periods.

• Identify operational risks and implement solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

Partner with Recruiting and Business Stakeholders

• Partner with Recruiting leaders, recruiters, hiring managers, program management leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate hiring goals into effective operating plans.

• Build trusted relationships across regions and communicate priorities, progress, risks, and decisions clearly.

• Provide practical guidance on coordination workflows, interview logistics, candidate communication, and process adherence.

• Represent the coordinator team in global planning and process-design discussions.

Improve the Candidate and Interviewer Experience

• Champion a timely, clear, inclusive, and engaging experience for candidates, interviewers, hiring teams, recruiters, and Early Talent stakeholders.

• Identify friction across the Early Talent hiring journey and prioritize improvements using feedback, data, and qualitative insights.

• Partner with Recruiting Operations and other functional teams to improve handoffs and reduce avoidable delays.

Lead Programs, Events, and Enablement

• Lead global projects that strengthen recruiting operations, standardize effective practices, and increase the impact of the Early Talent function.

• Coordinate industry and Early Talent recruiting events under Opening Doors to Discovery and Early Talent, partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences.

• Evaluate opportunities to use technology, automation, and reporting to improve coordinator effectiveness and service delivery.

• Define team metrics, monitor trends, and translate insights into focused action plans.

• Improve visibility into capacity, workload, service delivery, and operational risks to support better planning.

• Deliver meaningful improvements to the candidate, interviewer, and stakeholder experience.

• Create a scalable foundation for Early Talent hiring and recruiting event execution as MongoDB grows.
