The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Lead Consultant Learning & Development – Portfolio & Planning a critical role in enabling the strategy, operations, and effectiveness of the enterprise learning function. This role helps learning and development stay focused on priorities, aligned around common goals, and connected through effective planning, governance, and ways of working.

About the Role As a Lead Consultant Learning & Development – Portfolio & Planning you will serve as an individual contributor responsible for advancing Learning & Leadership Development's strategic priorities through operational excellence, governance, planning, and cross-functional leadership. You will partner closely with Learning and Development leaders and stakeholders across Human Resources including COE’s to translate strategic direction into coordinated action. This role is responsible for establishing and evolving processes, routines, and governance that enable Learning & Leadership Development to operate effectively at enterprise scale. You will support annual planning efforts, facilitate strategic business reviews, drive operational improvements, manage enterprise learning initiatives, and provide consulting expertise that helps leaders make informed decisions and achieve business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, consulting capability, organizational effectiveness expertise, facilitation skills, and the ability to influence across teams. You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, synthesizing complex information, identifying opportunities for improvement, and creating clarity in evolving environments.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Enterprise Learning Strategy, Planning & Governance • Partner with Learning & Leadership Development leaders to define strategic priorities, align resources, and translate enterprise objectives into actionable plans and roadmaps.

• Lead annual and multi-year planning processes, synthesizing business insights, identifying dependencies and risks, and establishing measures of success.

• Oversee governance and business review routines that provide visibility into portfolio performance, support decision-making, and ensure alignment to strategic priorities and business outcomes.

Operating Model, Process Excellence & Organizational Effectiveness • Design and continuously improve operating routines, governance frameworks, and organizational processes that strengthen execution across Learning & Leadership Development.

• Assess organizational effectiveness, identify opportunities for simplification and scalability, and implement solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.

• Lead process improvement initiatives related to intake and prioritization, resource planning, service delivery, vendor management, and enterprise learning operations.

• Establish scalable ways of working that drive consistency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the function.

Strategic Initiatives & Transformation • Lead or support high-priority initiatives that advance Learning & Leadership Development's long-term strategy, operating model, and organizational capabilities.

• Drive cross-functional programs requiring strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, governance, and operational execution.

• Partner with leaders to navigate organizational change, transformation efforts, and decisions related to future capability needs and organizational effectiveness.

Partnership, Influence & Enterprise Collaboration • Build trusted partnerships across Human Resources, COEs, and other enterprise functions.

• Leverage data, insights, and stakeholder perspectives to develop recommendations, influence decisions, and advance strategic priorities.

• Serve as a thought partner to leaders on enterprise learning strategy, organizational effectiveness, and business performance.

• Foster collaboration across teams to deliver integrated solutions that improve organizational outcomes and business results.

About You • Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or a related field.
