Responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and production control activities in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Pulls, processes, and prepares materials for domestic and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements. Generates, reviews, and verifies shipping documentation against materials prior to shipment. Performs a variety of physical and administrative duties related to the receipt, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Assembles accessory kits, maintains accurate shipment records, and supports manufacturing operations through effective coordination of stockroom, receiving, shipping, and inventory functions. Works in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse setting while adhering to established quality and safety standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: • Ensure GTC compliance of all exports by following previously established processes.
• Assist Inventory Control Specialist/Stockroom Coordinator with performing counts and kitting.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Perform cycle counts at assigned stock locations at appropriate intervals.
• Pull export orders that have been flagged for shipment and approved to ship by Licensing and Finance.
• Generates and processes export shipment documentation, including delivery notes, dimensions, and weight calculations, and uploads completed records to the Traffic team's shared folder to support accurate and timely export shipments.
• Monitor email communications for shipping documents provided by Traffic for exports. Verify shipping documents against export paperwork and delivery. Review export documentation to confirm all paperwork matches the corresponding materials prior to shipment.
• Add orders to Master as they come to stock and audit the Master once a week to ensure it is up to date.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications: • Must have high attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a forklift (training is provided).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain data using computer applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely shipment of all goods.
• Experience with outbound shipping vendors, such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong verbal & written communication skills to clearly articulate problems, issues, solutions, and conclusions.
• Strong organization, planning & execution skills to develop, maintain responsibilities, and maximize productivity.
• Strong self-motivation and accountability with a proven ability to execute assignments, meet commitments, and deliver results efficiently and on time.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – desired.
Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand up to 2 hours a day.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., unassisted.
• May require bending, twisting, and stopping.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce. Salary Range: $44,500.00-$59,300.000
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
