Interior Designer (Mid-Career) One of our clients is seeking an Interior Designer to join their design team in Fort Lee, NJ. The ideal candidate] will have strong design sensibility, technical ability, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

K EY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop design concepts, space planning, and presentations

• Create detailed 3D models in SketchUp

• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings and construction documentation

• Prepare floor plans, RCPs, elevations, sections, finish plans, and millwork details

• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and lighting

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators

• Participate in site visits, field measurements, and construction coordination

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Senior candidates may lead projects, manage client relationships, and oversee junior team members

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS • Strong SketchUp and AutoCAD proficiency

• Candidates should be comfortable moving efficiently between: 3D design development in SketchUp to 2D technical documentation in AutoCAD.

• A strong understanding of interior construction, materials, millwork, and detailing is expected.

• Revit is not required.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, rendering/visualization software, and other relevant design tools is preferred.

AI & DIGITAL TOOLS Experience using AI-assisted design and productivity tools is a strong plus. We value candidates who actively use or explore AI for visualization, concept development, presentations, research, documentation, and overall workflow efficiency.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT • Professional Korean and English bilingual (preferred). The position requires regular communication and coordination with both the U.S.-based project team and Korea-based clients, including project discussions, presentations, meetings, and written communication.

QUALIFICATIONS • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field preferred

• Strong design and space-planning skills

• Strong SketchUp 3D modeling skills

• Efficient AutoCAD drafting and documentation skills

• Knowledge of interior construction, materials, finishes, and millwork

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

• Portfolio demonstrating both design and technical capabilities

EXPERIENCE & COMPENSATION Intermediate Interior Designer 3–6 Years   The anticipated annual base salary for a full-time position is $65,000–$85,000 , depending on the candidate’s experience, portfolio, technical proficiency, and overall qualifications.

This is a W-2 employee position based in Fort Lee, New Jersey . Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered .

Full-time positions are anticipated at approximately 30–40 hours per week . For part-time positions, compensation will be prorated based on the agreed-upon work schedule and the applicable full-time annual salary , with specific hours and terms discussed during the interview process.

This is an in-office position .
