Brown & Brown   is seeking   an   Insurance Placement Specialist   to join our growing team in   Daytona Beach, FL!

How You Will Contribute:      

• Evaluates the customer’s current coverage compared with the quotes received through the insurance marketing process  

• Develops carrier relationships and negotiates with underwriters and brokers to obtain the best terms, conditions, and pricing from the insurance marketplaces to   facilitate   the successful placement of customer insurance programs  

• Reviews market response to fashion the most   appropriate insurance   program for recommendation to the producer  

• Oversees the   accurate   and professional creation of our customer proposal for use by the producer  

• Finalizes sold programs and binds coverage with selected carriers  

• Demonstrates clear knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and standard industry offerings  

• Stays   up to date   with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of property/casualty insurance carriers  

• Ensures the professional quality and proper presentation of our submissions to the market  

Licenses & Certifications:     

•   FL 2-20   License  

Skills & Experience to be Successful:    

• 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar position  

• Minimum education   required  

• Proficient with MS Office Suite & Excel  

• Exceptional telephone demeanor  

• Ability to   maintain   a high level   of confidentiality
