Position Summary

The Infusion Float RN/Authorization Department Liaison is a compassionate and skilled registered nurse who plays a vital role in both clinical care and administrative coordination within the outpatient oncology setting. This role supports patients throughout their cancer journey while also serving as a key connection between clinical teams and the authorization department. In addition to providing high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards, this nurse supports infusion clinics and ensures timely, accurate communication regarding treatment authorizations. The role requires strong oncology-specific knowledge, adaptability to float between clinic locations, and exceptional communication skills. This nurse will travel to assigned clinics as needed and must be flexible in responding to last-minute staffing changes to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
