HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As a Prep & Fry Production Associate, you will support the preparation, processing, and movement of ingredients used in the production of high-quality food products. Your focus on food safety, product quality, and efficient material flow will help ensure continuous production while maintaining compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO… • Maintain a continuous and uninterrupted supply of ingredients and components to the Prep and Fry production areas.
• Work around fryers, kettles, raw meat, Urschel equipment, and other food processing equipment to prepare products for assembly lines.
• Handle ingredients and components in accordance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and plant recipe requirements.
• Inspect ingredients and products throughout the prep, fry, and changeover processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow product rotation, time and temperature control requirements, and inventory management procedures.
• Return products to freezer and cooler locations while ensuring proper identification and storage.
• Assist with food preparation, assembly, packaging, and production support activities.
• Operate pallet jacks and Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) as authorized.
• Support inventory, receiving, warehouse, and material handling activities.
• Pick, stage, and prepare products for shipment or storage using established warehouse procedures.
• Assemble and secure palletized products for transport or storage.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, carts, trays, and workstations following sanitation procedures.
• Ensure products conform to recipe specifications and production standards.
• Maintain accurate time and temperature records where required.
• Demonstrate proper changeover, sanitation, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Report product quality issues, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational deviations to leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure materials are properly stored.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, GMP, SOP, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by team leads or supervisors.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE) • Ability to communicate effectively in a production environment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculator use.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift 20-40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and processing equipment.
• Ability to follow GMPs, USDA requirements, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production and quality goals.
• Ability to accurately handle product rotation and inventory movement.
• Ability to wear required PPE and report to work prepared and on time.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to travel throughout production and warehouse areas as needed.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE) • Previous experience in food manufacturing, food preparation, warehouse operations, or production environments.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE).
• Familiarity with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Experience with inventory control, receiving, shipping, or warehouse functions.
• Knowledge of time and temperature controls in food manufacturing.
• Experience working around fryers, kettles, processing equipment, or high-volume food production lines.
• Understanding of product quality standards and food production best practices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT • Food manufacturing environment with moving machinery and production equipment.
• Exposure to hot, cold, refrigerated, and raw food processing environments.
• Frequent exposure to loud noise levels and wet or slippery floors.
• Requires constant awareness of surrounding equipment and workplace hazards.
• Standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Team members must never place any part of their body into moving machinery.
COMPENSATION • Pay: $14.55-$15.30 per hour dependent upon experience
• Shifts: AM and PM available

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
