Position Summary The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Intern supports the Information Security and IT teams in managing user identities, access rights, and authentication services across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience with identity governance, cybersecurity operations, and compliance in a healthcare environment. Qualifications • Currently possess or pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality. • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, or SSO is a plus. Job Responsibilities • Assist with user account provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning. • Support access management activities, including security groups and role-based access controls (RBAC). • Participate in user access reviews and compliance-related audits. • Assist with MFA enrollment, password resets, and account troubleshooting. • Help document IAM processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Perform research and assist with IAM-related projects and reporting. Qualifications: • Current enrollment in graduate or undergraduate degree program • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Good analytical, prioritizing, and organization skills • Ability to develop and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with business partners • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting • High degree of confidentiality

Job Responsibilities:  • Supports day-to-day operations developing a general understanding of all aspects of administrative functions including policies, procedures, and processes.  • Gains exposure to various business functions specific to business group. • Gathers information and performs research. • Assists with reports, letters, documents and other forms of communication. • Observes processes and makes recommendations for improvements. • Provides assistance with special projects, as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation Pay Rate: $16.00

This position requires consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment is made, as well as on-going compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
