About this role

Job Title Human Resources Manager Position Overview Shaw Industries is seeking an HR Manager to serve as a strategic partner to leaders and associates at Plant 8S in C o lumbia, South Carolina.    This   role   leads   the delivery of site human resources programs and services, ensuring   consisten t   policy and regulatory compliance, strengthens organization al   capability, and supports an inclusive and engaging associate experience.  The HR Manager is also responsible for   the strategy , development, delivery,   administration,   and meas urement of all site training.    This included   onboarding   job qualifications,   compliance   training, technical and   operational   development, le ade rship   capability   cross - training, and maintenance of stie training   records   and matrices.

Responsibilities:    

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Plant Manager and site leadership team, aligning   people   strategies with operational priorities and business   objectives .  

• Lead the administration and implementation of all   site   human resources programs, practices, and services.  

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team members and other assigned direct reports.  

• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and change management.  

• Serve as an associate advocate while applying company policies and   practices   fairly, consistently, and respectfully.  

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.  

• Conduct   timely , thorough, and objective workplace investigations and recommend   appropriate actions .  

• Partner with leaders to   identify   workforce risks, talent gaps, staffing priorities, and organizational capability needs.  

• Lead site talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and employee development efforts.  

• Support recruiting,   selection , onboarding, retention, and internal movement processes.  

• Manage site   reward   and recognition programs and the associated budget.  

• Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, inclusion, accountability, communication, and workplace culture.  

• Support community outreach and associate involvement initiatives.  

• Use workforce data, trends, and feedback to   identify   opportunities and recommend effective solutions.  

• Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and business information.  

Qualifications:   

• Bachelor Degree  

• 3+ Plus Years in HR Generalist – HR Management   

• PHR or SPHR Preferred
