About this role
Location: Home Health - Fort Worth Department: Rehab Services Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 12 Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning; and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.
Education: • Masters degree in speech/language pathology or communication disorders or related
• Pediatric experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: • CPR certification
• State license or eligible for state licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook
• Current Texas driver license in good standing.
