About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 14 The Team The Value Capture & Integration Office sits within S&P Global Market Intelligence and is responsible for helping the division translate strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes. As MI evolves its structure to support future growth, the team provides focus and discipline around the initiatives that will unlock commercial, operational and integration value. The office has three connected pillars: MI Commercial Growth, Value Realization & Transformation, and Program Delivery & Governance. This role leads the Value Realization & Transformation pillar, working closely with Program Delivery & Governance to execute. The Head of Value Realization & Transformation owns the agenda for identifying, shaping and prioritizing the initiatives required to deliver business value through integration, transformation, operating model evolution and synergy capture. The role connects these efforts to commercial outcomes without owning business line commercial strategy, which remains with the relevant commercial strategy leads. The Impact Market Intelligence is evolving its operating model to respond more effectively to customer needs through greater focus, accountability and alignment. This role helps ensure that change is translated into clear priorities, practical choices and measurable outcomes, including where data, technology and AI-enabled capabilities can support stronger customer value. You will provide strategic direction on sequencing, trade-offs and dependencies across the most important transformation and integration initiatives, ensuring effort is focused on the areas with the greatest potential business impact. The role is critical to maintaining momentum through the transition, supporting customer outcomes and helping MI capture the value of its new structure. Responsibilities: Value Realization & Portfolio Direction • Own the division’s value realization agenda, with a clear view of the initiatives required to unlock commercial, operational and structural value.
• Translate executive priorities into a focused portfolio of initiatives, including expected outcomes, value drivers and key dependencies.
• Provide direction on sequencing, trade-offs and prioritization so effort is concentrated on the highest-impact opportunities.
Transformation & Synergy Capture • Lead strategic transformation work that supports MI’s evolving operating model, integration priorities and business simplification agenda.
• Shape transformation and integration opportunities that enable commercial, operational or structural outcomes, in partnership with the relevant business and commercial strategy owners.
• Define the value case, expected benefit, timing, risks and dependencies for priority initiatives.
• Work with VCO leadership, Program Delivery & Governance and relevant business owners to move from strategic design to execution readiness, while leaving day-to-day program control and delivery governance with the appropriate owners.
Leadership, Alignment & Change • Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Value Capture & Integration, helping convert executive direction into clear priorities, decisions and plans.
• Engage MI Commercial Growth and relevant commercial teams outside VCO to understand where transformation can enable growth, reduce friction or improve customer outcomes.
• Prepare executive-level recommendations that clarify choices, trade-offs, dependencies and expected value.
Execution Momentum • Maintain momentum through periods of change by identifying barriers, adoption risks and decision points that could slow delivery.
• Support the transition from initiative design to business ownership, ensuring changes are practical, understood and sustainable.
• Ability to operate across ambiguity and within a dynamic environment

• Is commercially and financially fluent, with the ability to connect transformation choices to growth, margin, efficiency and customer value.
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $117k to $270k . Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications . In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. Qualifications • 12-15+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, integration, value realization, operating model design, business operations, corporate development, consulting or related roles.
• Experience shaping complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed environment, with a strong understanding of how value is created, prioritized and realized.
• Strong capability in business case development, benefits tracking, dependency mapping, initiative prioritization and executive decision support.
• Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect transformation and integration choices to growth, margin, efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, create clarity in ambiguous situations and drive alignment without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
