Mercury Marine – Fond du Lac, WI.– Global Supply Chain Analytics & Insights Intern
Location: Fond du Lac Workplace Category: Hybrid Travel Required: None Direct Reports: None Pay Range: $18.00 - $27.00 Relocation: Yes Visa Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Position Overview: As a Global Supply Chain Analytics & Insights Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development and application of analytics, automation, machine learning, and AI-enabled solutions across Mercury’s Global Supply Chain organization. This role will help identify opportunities for data-driven improvement, predictive insights, process optimization, and business value creation.
You will partner with the Global Supply Chain Analytics and Insights team to translate business needs into practical analytics solutions that are measurable, ethical, scalable, and operationally relevant. Candidates with coursework, projects, internships, or student organization experience involving supply chain, business analytics, data science, information systems, process improvement, or emerging technologies are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions: • Partner with Global Supply Chain business teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvement, automation, and advanced analytics. • Assist in translating business questions into clearly defined use cases, hypotheses, data requirements, and analytical approaches. • Support the development of dashboards, reports, data models, and analytics tools that help improve supply chain visibility and decision making. • Contribute to data cleansing, validation, visualization, and analysis activities using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar tools. • Help evaluate analytics and AI outputs against business outcomes to ensure solutions are practical, usable, and aligned to operational needs.
Intern project opportunities: • Research analytics best practices, responsible AI concepts, automation opportunities, and emerging technologies that can support Global Supply Chain transformation. • Support an AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics proof of concept tied to a practical business use case.
• Map and analyze current-state processes to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and future-state improvements for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop recommendations and present project findings to Global Supply Chain Analytics & Insights leadership and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to explain findings clearly. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and interest in learning tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, or other analytics platforms. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications: • Coursework or project experience involving analytics, statistics, data visualization, AI, machine learning, or process improvement. • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, or other data visualization/analytics tools. • Exposure to data cleansing, data mapping, workflow documentation, user testing, or business requirements gathering. • Interest in responsible AI, digital transformation, automation, supply chain optimization, and business partnership.

This may range from supporting larger projects to handling smaller, individual assignments. • Hours: Co-ops and Interns are expected to work a full 40-hour work week • Feedback and Performance Reviews: As a co-op or intern, you will receive feedback and performance reviews throughout your assignment. We value the importance for interns to understand their progress and areas for improvement.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
