Job Description: We are searching for the best talent for a Global ERLR Strategy Manager - Corporate Services located in New Brunswick, NJ. Remote US work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The Global ERLR Strategy Manager will play a key role in defining the corporate strategy and priorities for the Global ERLR function. This person will support the Head of Global ERLR Corporate Strategy in shaping, implementing, and continuously refining a strategy that manages the overall employment risk at J&J. They will also collaborate with Government Affairs & Policy function as to proposed legislation that could impact the workplace, and the Enterprise Human Rights Governance Council as to Johnson & Johnson’s Human Rights initiatives.

As the Global ERLR Strategy Manager, you will:

• Serve as the strategic partner aligned with global and local ERLR teams to design, consult and execute on Global ERLR strategies and initiatives, including but not limited to, identifying trends and opportunities through data analysis, and recommending proactive solutions. • Deliver data insights and trend analysis leveraging our analytics tool ERLR DNA and serve as the primary contact on ERLR DNA. • Work with Global Experience Owner’s team on the continuous improvement strategy roadmap including input on project prioritization and to drive an efficient employee/customer experience. • Serve as a strategic partner with stakeholders, including but not limited to, the ERLR Leadership - Global Services, Global Legal Organization (GLO), Health Care Compliance (HCC), Global Audit & Assurance (GAA), Government Affairs & Policy, Global Security, BUHR & Business Leaders, Enterprise Human Rights Governance Council. • Have sole responsibility of the RIF & Organizational Change Exception Review Committee and process, including reviewing exception requests to determine within eligibility scope, set Committee’s weekly agenda, present exception requests to the Committee and communicate Committee decisions to BUHRs. Track and provide insights as to Committee actions. • Serve as a member of the Central RIF Coordination Team, coordinating global and large-scale RIFs and restructurings, including reporting metrics to leadership, serving as a point of contact to BUHRs and other stakeholders.  

• Support a culture of risk management, process improvement, innovation & transformation. • Assist in review of the impact of ERLR function and develop recommendations for organizational risks and opportunities, as well as any training needs • Ensure all processes and operations are conducted in a compliant manner, via alignment with Compliance, Privacy, and Legal partners. • Conduct sensitive investigations in certain circumstances where the Global Services ERLR team may have a conflict, or Senior HR Leadership and Employment Law request Corporate Services ERLR conduct the sensitive investigation. • Listen, learn, and influence the implementation of creative solutions to drive significant change in support of a broader risk management agenda • Work on cross-border issues as required • Work with Government Affairs & Policy on identifying pending legislation that may impact the workplace. • Capture & manage data for J&J’s annual Health for Humanity Report regarding the number of employees under a collective bargaining agreement. • Engage with certain third external parties including government agencies, and the CHRO Association and other outside organizations relating to Employee Relations issues in the workplace.

Qualifications

Required • A BA/BS degree is required. Advanced degree preferred. • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations, Human Resources, and/or HR Operations, is required. • Self-starter with strong business insight, innovative thinking, planning, and analytical skills required. • Expertise in using analytics to diagnose situations and build business cases for global solutions. Ability to report, analyze, and build action plans with data/metrics required. • Strong communication and presentation skills required (e.g., shaping dialogue and solutioning, deliver concise and impactful messages, stakeholder/expectation management) • Experience in engaging and advising senior level stakeholders on sensitive ERLR issues • Experience conducting employee relations investigations. • Experience working with multi-functional and cross-regional project teams, and a real passion for ERLR improvement/design required. • Ability to work in a global environment across cultures/countries in a highly sophisticated environment required. • A consistent track record of connecting with internal and external partners, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers at all levels is required. • Ability to focus on local detail with adherence to global standards re
