FSQA Technician 5 - All Shifts - Albany Plant

About this role

Job Details: As a Quality Assurance Technician 5 , you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems. Your key responsibilities will include :  

• Conduct Inspections : Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of our products and plant systems to ensure everything meets our high standards .  

• Document & Report: Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report your findings to management.  

• Take Action : Proactively take corrective actions, when necessary, by alerting the appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying , segregating, and isolating non-conforming products.  

• Collaborate : Work closely with your team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.  

• Additional Assignments: Be ready to take on any additional tasks that come your way, contributing to the overall success of our operations.  

    REQUIREMENTS :   Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.   Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience.   Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will interact with USDA and other points of contact.   Special Skills:    

• Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.  

• Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce.  

• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.  

• Solid math and organizational skills.  

• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.  

• Ability to function well under stress.  

• Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.  

Physical Requirements : Position involves heavy lifting ( 40 lbs. or more). May include lifting, standing, and walking for long periods of time.   Supervisory: None   Travel: None
