About this role
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Founding BDR opportunity at an early-stage AI recruiting startup, joining a small team where you'll work directly with the founders every day. You'll own the outbound engine from the ground up, helping shape the sales playbook and driving mid-market and enterprise pipeline — with a clear path to an Account Executive closing role as the company scales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and cold and warm outbound outreach campaigns.
- Qualify prospects through consultative selling techniques.
- Build and manage a mid-market and enterprise pipeline, including forecasting and progression toward close.
- Design, test, and iterate on GTM motions and experimental marketing campaigns with measurable pipeline impact.
- Maintain accurate CRM data on client relationships and deal progression.
- Progress into a closing AE role as the sales org grows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1–5 years of experience as a top-performing SDR/BDR and/or AE at a high-velocity startup or in finance.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota, quick promotions, and consistent top-of-class sales performance.
- Proven experience designing and executing outbound lead generation programs with measurable impact on pipeline.
- Experience building and managing mid-market and enterprise pipelines through qualification, forecasting, and close.
- History of successfully cold-outbounding your way into high-value opportunities.
- Evidence of doing something exceptional outside of a standard career path — founding a company, competitive achievement, or similar.
- Creative, high-clockspeed thinker who brings structured process and new ideas to accelerate growth.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary $110,000–$140,000 USD annually, plus commission and early-stage equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, CA.
