This Opportunity:

The Florida Civil / Municipal Growth Leader will   be responsible for   setting the vision, driving strategic growth, and representing SEH as a trusted partner to municipalities throughout the state, while   leveraging   the resources,   expertise , and national reach of a growing firm.   SEH is   seeking   a n   instinctive   and   proven municipal civil engineering leader to guide and grow our Florida practice,   building on   an established and capable team already serving communities across the Florida Panhandle and beyond. This role is designed for a respected industry professional with deep municipal relationships, a strong local reputation, and the ability to lead collaboratively   by   winning work, mentoring talent, and delivering exceptional results.    • This opportunity is open to candidates   residing   near   Tallahassee, Panama City, Destin, Pensacola ,   Fort Meyers,   FL ,   or   where ver else   your strengths may lead   us!  

• Shape and execute growth strategy by   identifying   target markets, priority audiences, and scalable growth opportunities.  

• Build   talented   team s   and client portfolios by leveraging firmwide resources across markets to drive growth strategies   

• Own and direct   multi-practice projects,   setting strategic direction and ensuring seamless execution across regions  

Essential Qualifications:  

• Demonstrated leadership in setting and executing market strategy, aligning project delivery and business development to drive sustained, profitable growth   

• Expert at orchestrating cross   disciplinary   teams to deliver complex projects efficiently and at scale   

• Trusted partner to senior intern al leaders, shaping growth strategies and evaluating high   impact   market opportunities   

• Deep,   established   executive network across Florida, with strong market presence and influence   

• Proven market builder with a consistent record of winning, expanding, and   retaining   client relationships   

• Motivated by ownership and   long   term   impact, joining SEH as an employee   o wner with direct accountability for the success, growth, and legacy of the market and work they lead  

• Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Florida  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Fifteen (15) years of e xperience leading market or regional growth strategies,   with accountability for business development, client expansion, and delivery performance   

• Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multi disciplinary project portfolios,   balancing strategic vision with operational execution   

• Ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level, partnering with internal leaders to shape investment priorities and long - term growth plans   

• Prior experience in, or strong alignment with, an employee - owned organization, embracing shared accountability for growth, profitability, and legacy

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $140,000 and $180,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
