About this role

Job Posting Title: Facility Systems Engineer Req ID: 10159490 Job Description: The Facility Systems Engineer (Controls Engineer- Power & Utility Metering) supports the design, configuration, programming, software development, documentation, commissioning, and sustainment of Resort wide Power Metering Control System (PMCS) and utility metering systems. This includes water, gas, chilled and heating water, and compressed air monitoring. The role ensures reliable operation, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and technical support for critical Resort infrastructure.

Responsibilities/You Will • Design, create, revise, and maintain system documentation—including schematics, wiring diagrams, sequences, panel schedules, and device lists—for all PMCS and utility metering/control projects and sustainment.

• Develop, configure, and sustain software and interfaces for utility metering and PMCS platforms, including GUIs, dashboards, alarming/alerting, notifications, Communicator PQA, and data acquisition (DAS) tools.

• Integrate and support PMCS, metering, and utility monitoring platforms with Resort wide dashboarding, analytics, and reporting/visualization systems.

• Assist in system testing, installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and field verifications.

• Support trending, historical reporting, and analytics for utility system operations and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with project teams, operations, maintenance, IT, and external partners to deliver projects, resolve issues, and optimize performance.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, Disney standards, and local codes; support emergency response/system restoration as required.

• Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques for utility metering and control systems.

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.

• 1+ year experience in power/utility metering, controls, or data acquisition systems.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Communicator PQA, EIG, Eaton, & GE utility meters.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $107,100.00 to $130,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographical region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
