SUMMARY:   The Fabricator welds metal components together and fabricates and/or repairs equipment according to layouts, blueprints and/or work orders using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: • Weld metal components together • Fabricate or repair according to layouts, blueprints and/or work orders • Uses brazing and/or varieties of arc and gas welding equipment • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Required • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3 years of experience in welding fabrication • Valid state issued driver’s license • Clean driving record

• Preferred • Trade school/technical school welding certification highly preferred
