Extrusion Technician II - 2nd Shift - $29.40 + $2.00 Shift Premium

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule : 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday; 2:30 pm - 1:00 am

What you will do   As an extrusion technician II, you will take responsibility for running their extrusion line to produce quality products efficiently. This includes equipment set-up, tooling inspections, product inspections, and process monitoring. • Under general supervision, operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs  

• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes   

• Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents  

• Operate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed   

• Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures as needed   

• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors   

• Assist execution of continuous improvement projects  

• Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker  

    What you need   Preferred Qualifications:   • High School or GED  

• 1 year Manufacturing experience  

• Experience with extrusion or medical manufacturing 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents  

     $29.40 + $2.00 Shift Premium plus bonus eligible + benefits.      Travel Percentage: None
