About this role
About Rainmaker Across the United States, more than 80 million people suffer from drought. Essential systems that sustain life—drinking water, food production, and power generation—are under strain, threatening the security and resilience of our communities. Rainmaker's mission is to use proven, dependable technologies to fight water scarcity. In doing so, we secure not only our own future but also the beauty and abundance of our natural world.
About the Role This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. You'll work directly with Rainmaker's Founder & CEO, helping manage his time, communications, travel, and day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate complex domestic and international travel, manage an evolving schedule, prepare for important meetings, and ensure priorities stay on track as the company grows. The role extends well beyond calendar management. You'll work across every part of the company, from engineering and recruiting to government affairs, fundraising, and customer engagements. You'll frequently interact with senior executives, investors, government officials, and partners, and you'll often travel alongside the CEO to support meetings and company initiatives. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and priorities change quickly. Some travel will be on short notice, and the hours won't always be predictable. The right person is highly organized, exercises good judgment, communicates exceptionally well, and enjoys solving problems before they become someone else's. This role is best suited for someone early in their career who wants an unusually close view of how an ambitious technology company is built and is excited to take on significant responsibility from day one.
