Job Posting Title: Evaluation Coordinator ---- Hiring Department: Special Education ---- Position Open To: All Applicants ---- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 20 ---- FLSA Status: Exempt from FLSA ---- Earliest Start Date: Sep 01, 2026 ---- Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Aug 31, 2027 ---- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS ---- Job Details: Purpose The Project Coordinator supports the conduct of externally funded program evaluations and applied research studies within MCPER's evaluation portfolio. Working with one or more Evaluation Directors, this position coordinates the day-to-day logistics of assigned projects, including scheduling, data collection activities, communication with sites and participants, and tracking of project deliverables and timelines. Coordinators may support multiple projects but do not work across all projects in the division.
Responsibilities • Coordinate day-to-day project logistics, including scheduling, data collection activities, and site communication.
• Track project deliverables, timelines, and milestones; maintain project documentation and records.
• Support data collection and data management activities in coordination with data specialists.
• Communicate with project sites, participants, and stakeholders as directed.
• Assist Evaluation Directors in preparing reports, presentations, and other project materials.
• Engage in problem-solving activities as necessary.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating projects, research studies, or programs, including scheduling and logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience coordinating education research or program evaluation projects.
• Experience working with data collection instruments and data management processes.
• Experience communicating with external project sites and stakeholders.
Salary Range Prorated rate of $32,500 - $37,500 (Full-time equivalent of $65,000 - $75,000)
Working Conditions • Standard office and research environment. Occasional travel to project and partner sites.
Work Shift • This position is for 20 hours a week.
