What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and support daily operational engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance • Analyze processes, equipment, and production data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives • Support project planning and execution, including upgrades, modifications, and capital improvements • Ensure engineering practices align with operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
What Are We Looking For • Demonstrated capability in operational or industrial engineering within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into action • Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and operational levels • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement • Proficiency with engineering tools, systems, and technical documentation
Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer • $47.35 to $47.35 per hour • Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension • Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays
