About this role
GEICO Local Office in Overland Park, a locally-owned, independent insurance sales agency, is hiring a full-time insurance sales agent! You can be a key member of a professional, supportive sales team, in a non-corporate environment, selling auto, home, renters, motorcycle, and other insurance products, to customers throughout Kansas City and Eastern Kansas. A current P&C license is required , along with insurance sales experience and the ability to learn quickly. We are busy and growing and looking for a sales agent who: • Is disciplined, motivated and can work our "warm", internet-generated, GEICO-specific leads for a portion of each day • Has a great attitude and enjoys talking to people • Enjoys selling and has the drive to be successful • Has strong computer skills and the ability to learn and work with multiple quoting systems • Can speak Spanish...not required but would be a positive characteristic
