This is a high-visibility, relationship-intensive role that demands both strategic acumen and operational discipline. The Director must navigate the tri-entity governance structure with fluency, align product delivery across Jefferson Health, Thomas Jefferson University, and Jefferson Health Plans, and serve as a trusted extension of the EVP's office in all wellness matters.

Summary The Director, Enterprise Operations serves as the primary operational lead and cross-entity coordinator for Jefferson's direct-to-employer (DTE) health and wellness business unit. Reporting directly to the EVP & Chief Health Equity & Community Impact Officer, this role functions as the day-to-day engine of the wellness initiative — translating enterprise strategy into coordinated execution across Jefferson's three entities and managing the relationship architecture between entity presidents and their respective product leads. This is a high-visibility, relationship-intensive role that demands both strategic acumen and operational discipline. The Director must navigate the tri-entity governance structure with fluency, align product delivery across Jefferson Health, Thomas Jefferson University, and Jefferson Health Plans, and serve as a trusted extension of the EVP's office in all wellness matters.
Job Duties • Enterprise Coordination & Cross-Entity Integration • Serve as the primary liaison between the EVP & CHEACIO and the three entity presidents (Jefferson Health President, TJU President, and JHP President) on all BE Well™ matters. • Coordinate and align the work of entity-level product leads — ensuring consistent messaging, shared timelines, and integrated delivery across JH, TJU, and JHP. • Lead cross-entity working sessions, standing check-ins, and issue escalation processes, maintaining governance rigor across all workstreams. • Manage the seven-workstream planning document, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables with precision. • Employer Pipeline & Business Development Support • Support the EVP in active employer outreach efforts — including preparation of materials, CRM tracking, and coordination for prospects. • Draft and refine pitch decks, one-pagers, and meeting briefs tailored to specific employer audiences and Jefferson entity contexts. • Track employer pipeline activity, maintain accurate records of outreach status, and prepare EVP briefings prior to key employer engagements. • Strategic Operations & Deliverable Management • Oversee the operational infrastructure of the program, including the business plan, RACI matrix, org structure documents, and workstream planning materials. • Ensure timely production of board-ready deliverables, presentations, and executive briefings as directed by the EVP. • Identify process bottlenecks, surface risks, and recommend course corrections to the EVP to keep the initiative on timeline. • Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management • Build and maintain productive working relationships with entity presidents, product leads, and key employer contacts on behalf of the EVP. • Represent wellness in internal cross-functional meetings as delegated by the EVP, bringing both strategic context and operational detail. • Manage inbound inquiries and outbound communications related to the program with professionalism and discretion. • Data, Reporting & Performance Tracking • Develop and maintain an operational dashboard tracking pipeline health, product workstream status, and employer engagement metrics. • Prepare regular progress reports and executive summaries for the EVP, entity presidents, and other senior stakeholders as required. • Support data-informed decision making by synthesizing information across workstreams into actionable intelligence.
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field • 5 years to 8 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, strategy, business development, or a related field. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across a matrixed organizational environment. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing executive-level documents and presentations. • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with project management tools. • Proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior leaders and external partners. • Strategic Alignment — Translates enterprise vision into operational plans with clarity and coherence. • Executive Presence — Engages confidently with C-suite and entity president-level stakeholders. • Cross-Entity Collaboration — Navigates multi-entity governance with diplomacy and results orientation. • Operational Excellence — Manages multiple simultaneous workstreams without losing precision or quality. • Relationship Architecture — Builds trust-based relationships that drive long-term partnership and pipeline growth. • Analytical Judgment — Synthesizes complex information into clear recommendations and executive summaries. • Discretion & Integrity — Handles sensitive business development and enterprise strategy with confidentiality.
