Job Description: General Description: The Enterprise Architect will lead the visioning, planning, and directional execution of our technology strategy and ensure the alignment of our technology vision with OU Health business goals. They will have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire technology professionals, including System engineers, business analysts, and architects, while also establishing connections, credibility, and influence with business leaders across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect will ensure the company is staying current with Healthcare Technology trends, as well as overall technological trends, and will collaborate and lead discussions with technology teams and business leaders to gather diverse insights that inform cost-effective technology designs and execution strategies. This role will provide leadership which fosters agility, innovation, and efficiency in our implementations.

• Guide and mentor a diverse team of technology professionals, that reports indirectly, to foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and improvement.

• Establish and administer technology standards and best practices to ensure enterprise-wide consistency, quality, and compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements.

• Lead the adoption and maintenance of architectural frameworks that support efficient, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions.

• By keeping current with emerging technologies and trends, lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of technologies and processes that enhance the organization’s capabilities and competitiveness.

• Collaborate with Project Management teams to help foster continual incorporation of best practice processes.

• Lead enterprise-level strategy for cloud platforms (Azure, M365), infrastructure modernization, and integration architecture.

• Drive adoption of innovative technologies and frameworks that enhance business agility, data insights, and security posture.

• Promote consistent use of enterprise tools, integration patterns, and design frameworks across all divisions and managed practices.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence.

General Responsibilities: • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required. Experience: 5 years of experience in engineering enterprise IT platforms required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s): None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   • In-depth understanding of Infrastructure, Network, and System Engineering in healthcare preferred.

• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.

• Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.

• Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments.

• Effective leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity that includes the ability to incorporate preferred.

• Strong foundation in data management as a function of architecture design and implementation.

• Demonstrated experience leading and influencing technology and governance initiatives across diverse teams and technology ecosystems.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of technology and business stakeholders.

• Proven experience leading technology strategies in a complex organization with diverse products and customers.

• Exceptional analytical skills to assess challenges and propose innovative technical solutions.

• Expertise in tools like ArchiMate, Visio, and Lucidchart.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM templates.

• Ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

• Manage complex IT environments and security requirements.

• Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong ability to mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Skill in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.

• Familiarity with integrated delivery systems in multi-site academic health environments.

• Proven expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions.

• Proven track record leading technical teams and architecture decisions on large-scale projects.
