A Day in the Life Cardiac Ablation Solutions develops technologies used to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias, supporting physicians in delivering catheter-based therapies for patients with abnormal heart rhythms. The organization partners across research and development, quality, regulatory, operations, clinical, and commercial teams to bring new products and therapy improvements from concept through commercialization.
This role may be based in Mounds View, Minnesota or Newton, Massachusetts and follows an onsite work model with a minimum of four days per week in the office.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional development teams to deliver products from ideation to market launch
• Set clear objectives , evaluate progress against objectives , and instill performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability
• Build high performing cross-functional project teams on a local and global basis
• Run multiple projects of varying complexity & duration in parallel
• Utilize effective influence, prioritization, conflict resolution & risk management skills
• Drive project execution across functions and facilities to achieve results
• Communicate effectively with functional management and senior leaders
• Manage predictable project schedules and budgets
• Provide regular status updates for management and cross-functional review
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a n Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ablation products and therapies (e.g., catheters, generators)
• Record of success in leading product development and/or process improvement projects
• Experience working regulated industry and strong understanding of medical device regulations
• Ability to effectively interface and influence employees at all organizational levels
• Strength in working with cross-functional teams across facilities to solve problems
• Detailed skill in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks
• Basic financial acumen and the ability to quantify results ( e.g. ROI analysis)
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$142,400.00 - $213,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
