The data and AI layer for a Top 3 US bank.

We're 100+ people across the US and India, headquartered in Atlanta. We think big, move fast, and don't mistake activity for progress. We hire people who'd rather ship the rocket than brief someone on it.

We're not actively hiring for this role today, but we're always interested in meeting engineering leaders who might be a great fit down the road. If you're happily employed but keeping half an eye on the market, this is a low-pressure way to get on our radar.

What this role tends to look like:

- Leading and growing a team of engineers (typically 5–10), with real ownership over their growth and performance

- Balancing people leadership with enough technical depth to stay credible in design discussions and code reviews

- Partnering with product management to turn strategy into a clear, achievable roadmap

- Building a healthy team culture — one where people do their best work and want to stick around

- Hiring, coaching, and sometimes making the hard calls when performance isn't there

- Removing blockers so your team can focus on shipping

What we look for:

- Prior experience managing engineers, ideally 2+ years, with a track record of retaining and developing talent

- A strong engineering background — you don't need to be hands-on daily, but you should understand the work deeply

- Clear, empathetic communication and a coaching mindset

- Comfort with ambiguity and the judgment to prioritize ruthlessly

- A track record of shipping meaningful things through a team, not just individually
