Job Responsibilities:
About the Role This role serves as a critical bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to support new product launches and ongoing product excellence. You will lead manufacturing alignment, prototype and component risk management, and hands-on support for DFM, lean line readiness, and validation activities. The position also plays a key role in engineering demonstrations, warranty trend analysis, and failure investigation to drive continuous improvement and customer confidence. Ideal for a proactive problem-solver, this role offers broad exposure across the product lifecycle and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on product quality, manufacturability, and speed to market. Your Responsibilities Manufacturing Liaison / Support · Maintain regular manufacturing issues alignment with engineering · Contribute to monthly Kaizen workshops. Small but continuous improvements · Equipment definition support, manufacturing requirements, etc · Create purchase requestions
New Product Launch Support · DFM management · Lean Line reviews · Nee concept / Manufacturing roadmap Proof of Concept studies
Prototype Management · coordination of prototype builds with internal or external partners/suppliers · test of prototypes · record / tracking prototypes for delivery · develop strategy for prototype management and supply chain coordination
Advanced Component Management · manage alternate part proof of concept projects · manage product supply chain risk · maintain regular reviews for EoL or at risk components · manage component risk / supply chain strategy matrix
Engineering Demonstration Management · understand customers needs of demonstration kits (i.e. KPI evaluation, development, integration with CAN, etc) · support verification of and delivery to customer of engineering demonstration kits Warranty Management · Monitoring Warranty returns and trends for continuous product improvement · Summarize full discipline feedback for customer communications Failure Analysis · support explanation of observed issues to failure analysis team · review reports and suggest additional testing for comprehensive report Product Validation Support · DV/PV tester debug / support · Test plan / setup review · Test result review Who we are looking for Education · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred. · Certifications
Experience · Experience in mentoring and growing teams.
