JOB SUMMARY This Engineer II role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, analyzing and managing In-Line Inspection data for the Natural Gas Liquids, Natural Gas Pipeline, and Natural Gas Gathering & Processing business units. This position is designed for long-term technical specialization, requiring strong time management and critical thinking skills as well as understanding of applicable regulations under 49 CFR 195 & 192. While an Engineering degree is preferred, other applicable degrees such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, and Statistics are acceptable. The exact title and role will be determined based on the individual candidate’s skillset and applicable work experience, if any. The schedule is Hybrid, working from the Tulsa office Monday-Thursday and working remote on Friday. Standard or 494 working schedules are available for this role. This role does not require travel outside of the Tulsa office. Must live in the Tulsa area. Job Profile Summary   The ILI Engineer II is responsible for analyzing and validating ILI data in support of pipeline integrity programs   governed   by 49 CFR Part 192 and/or 49 CFR Part 195. The ideal candidate is someone who values accuracy, consistency, and technical depth, and is someone who takes pride in doing detailed work exceptionally well. This role will be highly rewarding for a candidate who enjoys precision and structured problem solving.   

Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Analyzes In-Line Inspection data sets in support of Pipeline Integrity Management Programs governed by 49 CFR Part 192 and 49 CFR Part 195  

• Collaborates on processes and projects that ensure all internal integrity goals and external compliance expectations are met  

• Partners and communicates with In-Line Inspection tool vendors throughout the duration of a project to ensure data accuracy and quality  

• Enters and updates appropriate databases with information collected during data analysis activities  

• Identified inconsistencies and trends within In-Line Inspection data using various data modeling tools and software  

• Manages dig list development and review processes  

• Supports teams within and outside of Pipeline Integrity with ad hoc engineering analyses or activities  

Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a combination of formal education and/or the following job-related experience:  

Work Experience ​ • Experience and/or training related to: • Pipeline Integrity • GIS • Statistics • Database development

• Audits (Internal & Regulatory) • Experience in use and function of office equipment such as computers and applicable software

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 195 for Liquids and 49 CFR Part 192 for Natural Gas Preferred  

• Knowledge of pipeline integrity assessment and remediation preferred  

• Knowledge of pipeline systems preferred  

• Knowledge of pipeline risk principles preferred  

• Ability to: apply math and algebraic formulas  

• Data Modeling and visualization experience preferred (SQL, Power BI, Spotfire, etc.)
