Job Description:

Summary:

• Assemble rack-mountable cabinet.

• Assemble test equipment into a rack mountable cabinet (up to 50lbs weight on some equipment).

• Assemble electronic modules and assemblies into a test enclosure.

• Solder cables, connectors and interconnect all instruments inside the rack to:

• Power sources (110-220 VAC and 48VDC – safety factor)

• Fiber Optic Cables ( level up to 23 dBm – safety factor)

• Execute test SW programs to verify the tester is assembled correctly.

Safety Training:

• Technician must have knowledge of safety with using assembly tools, soldering irons, electrical connections (DC and AC), fiber optic laser safety, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Example of Test Racks and equipment to be assembled and tested.

• Min 5 years' experience in hardware installation
