Job Description The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the Employee Relations Program Administrator. UNLV Human Resources [R0152734]

ROLE of the POSITION This position reports to the ER Director. This position provides strategic and operational leadership within the Employee Relations Office. This position is responsible for managing programs and initiatives that enhance the functions of the ER Office. This position is responsible for significant contributions to department planning and operational strategy development. In addition to daily operational tasks, this position is responsible for managing program operations; planning, developing, and coordinating the office's workshops and trainings; ensuring effective customer service operations; and supporting the creation and implementation of strategic goals and initiatives. This position is expected to provide regular operational updates to the Employee Relations Director and Specialists when needed. This position will participate in strategic planning and provide guidance and resources to the Employee Relations Director, as needed, to remain compliant with established practices put in place to adhere to the NRS, NAC, university policies, and state/federal regulations. The incumbent designs and implements educational outreach efforts, manages special projects and key workflows, and contributes significantly to strategic planning and process improvement. This role serves as a connector between the ER Office and a wide range of stakeholders across UNLV and the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), fostering a collaborative and respectful workplace. , reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1- 3 years of experience.  Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

ACCEPTED EQUIVALENCIES FOR DEGREE REQUIREMENT UNLV may consider additional relevant experience in place of formal education requirements: • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, applicants may qualify with four additional years of relevant experience, or with an associate's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience. • For positions requiring a master’s degree, acceptable equivalents include: • Six additional years of relevant experience • A bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience • An associate degree plus four additional years of relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of related professional experience

SALARY Salary range is $50,000 to $58,000, or commensurate with the labor market.
