Summary of Job Duties: The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking exceptional physicians to join our nationally recognized department. We are recruiting board-certified and board-eligible physicians across a variety of clinical, academic, subspecialty, and leadership roles.

Emergency Medicine Physician – Community Practice Emergency Medicine Physician – Academic Clinical Faculty Medical Toxicologist Assistant/Associate Residency Program Director Medical Director – Community Emergency Medicine

Candidates may indicate their area(s) of interest during the recruitment process. Qualifications: Additional   qualifications may apply depending on the position. • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent degree   

• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM), or specialty-specific board certification where applicable   

• Eligibility for   or   current Arkansas medical licensure   

• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care   

• Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills   

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic medicine and physician education   

• Community emergency medicine

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients across the lifespan   

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries   

• Perform emergency procedures consistent with specialty training

• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students   

• Participate   in curriculum development and educational programming   

• Mentor trainees and junior faculty   

• Lead clinical operations and departmental initiatives   

• Support provider recruitment, onboarding, and professional development
