The University of Texas at Austin’s High School (UTHS) Special Purpose District provides programs and services to help high school students, teachers and families across Texas and the world. UTHS strives to help and assist students as they move along their educational pathways. This position requires fingerprinting and successful completion of a background check.

Support the implementation, growth, and continuous improvement of district programs through professional learning, instructional design, project implementation, marketing, and operational support. Collaborate with UTHS staff, educators, school districts, university partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to strengthen program quality and drive data-informed continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• District Program Development, Delivery & Implementation

Design, develop, and continuously improve district programs across instructional areas including Advanced Placement, Gifted and Talented education, Blended Learning, Project-Based Learning, AI, leadership development, and other emerging educator and district needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts and contractors to design and build online courses applying best practices in instructional design, online course quality standards, and adult learning theory, and to deliver engaging online, hybrid, and face-to-face learning experiences. Develop instructional resources and course materials; lead workshops, webinars, conferences, and training sessions; implement logistics for large-scale programs such as Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSI); and develop implementation plans, timelines, and standard operating procedures to track deliverables and support consistent program delivery. • Marketing, Communications & Outreach  

Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to increase awareness and expand participation in district programs. Create and maintain webpages, email campaigns, newsletters, social media content, promotional materials, presentations, and videos. Represent the District at conferences, outreach events, and partner engagements. Analyze marketing performance and engagement data to recommend improvements. • Digital Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement

Support implementation and improvement of digital learning environments, instructional technologies, registration systems, AI-supported workflows, surveys, and databases. Collect, analyze, and interpret participant data, survey results, and program outcomes to inform decision making and develop reports, dashboards, and AI-supported solutions that improve efficiency and organizational effectiveness. • Collaboration & Organizational Engagement

Serve as a collaborative team member supporting district initiatives, internal professional learning, committees, strategic projects, and university partnerships. Travel as needed to facilitate programs, present professional learning, and represent the University. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related field. Three years of successful experience as a K–12 classroom teacher or instructional professional. Experience designing and facilitating professional learning for educators in online, hybrid, or face-to-face settings. Experience designing instructional materials and online learning experiences using learning management systems such as Canvas and other educational technology tools. Demonstrated ability to implement multiple concurrent projects, manage changing priorities, and execute work according to established timelines. Strong written, verbal, presentation, collaboration, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with educators, district leaders, university partners, contractors, and other stakeholders. Experience using Microsoft 365, Excel, Google Workspace, learning management systems, survey tools, databases, and other educational technology platforms. Ability to organize and manage extensive digital files, instructional resources, and project materials. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs,
