 About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting, the Director of Treasury is responsible for providing strategic leadership for and building the capabilities of Neurocrine’s treasury and insurance function. The role oversees treasury operations, banking relationships, treasury technology, and the development of financial risk management capabilities, as well as the Company’s property & casualty and directors & officers insurance programs. In partnership with senior Finance leadership, the Director supports capital markets, financing, and capital allocation initiatives. The Director establishes the operating model, governance framework, policies, controls, technology roadmap, and functional capabilities required to support the Company’s continued growth; serves as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership; and leads complex cross-functional initiatives and strategic transactions. _ Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): Treasury • Develop and execute the Company's treasury strategy, operating plan, policies, performance measures, and multi-year capability roadmap that informs and aligns with Finance and Company priorities

• Build and continuously enhance scalable treasury capabilities by establishing governance, operating processes, internal controls, technology, and functional capabilities to support the Company's continued growth

• Lead enterprise cash forecasting, daily liquidity management, and short- and long-term liquidity planning, including stress testing and contingency funding analyses

• Lead the Company's investment portfolio strategy and execution, including cash deployment, maturity and duration planning, liquidity segmentation, counterparty exposure, custody relationships, and compliance with investment policies

• Lead strategic relationships with commercial banks, revolving credit facility lenders, investment managers, custodians, and other financial institutions, including oversight of banking services, fee negotiations, service levels, and treasury-related vendor relationships

• Lead global treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank account administration, signatory governance, payment controls, fraud prevention, treasury compliance, and banking documentation

• Develop and manage intercompany funding and settlement processes to support the Company's evolving global operations, including intercompany loans, cash transfers, funding requirements, and cash repatriation; partner closely with Tax, Accounting, and Legal to evaluate funding alternatives and establish appropriate documentation, controls, and processes considering tax, accounting, regulatory, and legal-entity requirements

• Partner with Finance leadership to evaluate and execute capital markets and financing initiatives, including administration of the Company's credit facility, financing analyses, covenant compliance, lender communications, interest rate risk management, and preparation for future credit rating agency engagement and debt market access, as appropriate

• Develop analyses and recommendations supporting capital allocation decisions related to liquidity reserves, investment strategy, debt management, acquisitions, strategic investments, and shareholder return initiatives

• Develop and enhance the Company’s financial risk management framework by identifying, assessing, and monitoring foreign exchange, interest-rate, liquidity, counterparty, and other financial exposures. Evaluate and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies, including derivative or hedging programs as warranted by the Company’s evolving operations and capital structure, and partner with Accounting on related controls, accounting, valuation, and financial reporting considerations

• Support acquisitions, divestitures, licensing transactions, and other strategic initiatives through treasury due diligence, financing analyses, banking and cash management integration, and transition planning

• Lead the treasury technology and automation roadmap, including Kyriba, bank connectivity, cash and liquidity reporting, investments, debt administration, controls, data integration, analytics, and appropriate applications of artificial intelligence and workflow automation
