We work alongside engineering, data science, IT, finance, and business operations to convert AI strategy into scalable action, helping teams innovate faster, boost efficiency, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

The Director, TPG AI Program Management is a key leadership role responsible for crafting and implementing TPG’s AI transformation agenda. This position combines strategic portfolio leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment, governance, and value realization across a global AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate thrives in sophisticated environments, builds scalable operating models, and delivers measurable results through disciplined execution.

AI & Intelligent Systems

As part of Micron’s ongoing digital transformation, this role includes a strong expectation that engineers bring (or actively develop) capabilities in AI-enabled software development, including:

• Practical experience or solid grounding in integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications, including bringing to bear large language models (LLMs) and advanced inference services. • Familiarity with agentic architectures—designing and orchestrating autonomous or semi-autonomous software agents that can reason, plan, and complete multi-step workflows. • Experience building or integrating workflows powered by artificial intelligence, such as task decomposition, tool chaining, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and context-aware decision systems. • Understanding of responsible AI principles, including model evaluation, observability, and safe deployment practices. • Ability to find opportunities where AI and automation can meaningfully enhance business processes, developer efficiency, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the TPG AI portfolio, including priorities, roadmaps, governance, risks, dependencies, and executive decision points. • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align AI investments with business outcomes, engineering transformation priorities, and multi-year value goals. • Develop executive reporting, performance indicators, and value realization frameworks that link AI initiatives to business outcomes. • Collaborate with Finance and Business Operations on resource planning, case development, capacity modeling, and long-range planning. • Build and lead a high-performing program management function while embedding responsible AI, security, IP protection, governance, and organizational change practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 10 years of demonstrated ability in strategic program management, technical program management, or related leadership roles. • Experience leading multi-year transformation programs across technical, business, and executive collaborator groups. • Strong understanding of AI-enabled transformation, engineering efficiency, change management, and organizational capability building. • Outstanding executive communication and persuasion abilities within a matrixed global setting. • Proven success influencing senior leaders and getting results within a matrixed global organization with willingness to travel as needed for partner engagement and business reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor, memory, engineering, product development, build automation, data science, AI platform, or advanced technology environments. • Experience supporting engineering AI adoption, GenAI initiatives, agentic workflows, AI governance, or developer efficiency programs. • Experience building executive reporting, portfolio management processes, arguments, and value realization mechanisms. • Experience with AI, GenAI, agentic workflows, AI governance, engineering AI adoption, or developer efficiency initiatives. • Familiarity with strategic portfolio management, Agile delivery, Jira or similar tools, business process automation, knowledge management, and executive dashboarding.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$159,000.00 - $358,000.00 a year Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
