About Salesforce Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience Salesforce is seeking a highly effective Director to join our management-led SOX 360 Program Office. This multifaceted leader will act as a strategic advisor across our global enterprise, translating deep technical knowledge (US GAAP, ICFR, and PCAOB auditing requirements) into practical, modern business solutions. This role will primarily focus on the Quote to Cash End-to-End business processes and will also support other business process areas as needed. The ideal candidate will combine strong emotional intelligence with independent critical thinking to drive cross-functional SOX readiness initiatives and champion process excellence in a fast-scaling, dynamic environment.

What You'll Actually Be Doing • Serve as a strategic advisor to the business on a fast-evolving SOX landscape, shaping process improvements that keep pace with company growth

• Own SOX readiness and program maturation end-to-end, bringing deep business knowledge to bear on how the program evolves

• Lead your team as the subject matter authority for your assigned process areas — owning the controls, policies, and external reporting standards that govern them

• Partner across the business to spot risk early, redesign controls that reduce exposure, and assess deficiencies before they become surprises

• Keep SOX documentation (flowcharts, narratives, controls) audit-ready and accurate as the single source of truth for your areas

• Drive automation and analytics adoption to lean out compliance work without reducing control effectiveness

• Own the external auditor relationship for your areas: run walkthroughs, present control fact patterns, and align on scope and thresholds

• Mentor and grow your team, delivering the kind of direct, actionable feedback that builds future leaders

You're Our Person If... • 10+ years of related audit & accounting experience preferably gained in both public accounting and private industry

• Prior experience leading teams, including improving and reinforcing performance in others and facilitating their skill development by providing clear, specific performance feedback

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other finance related degree or equivalent experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

• Previous experience supporting a company's SOX program and crafting and implementing a system of internal controls, large-scale management-led SOX organization

• Strong background in public company SOX compliance requirements, accounting, and finance processes, including a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency

• Strong knowledge/experience with key business processes including Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, ASC 606 and auditing requirements including Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) requirements and US GAAP

• Familiarity with financial systems as they relate to reviewing and improving internal controls

Even Better If... • Primary audit experience in the SaaS or Tech industry

• Consulting/ Big 4 experience is preferred

• Professional certification including CPA and/or CIA

• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP topics relevant to a large public company (close and consolidation, tax, treasury, stock compensation, etc.)

• Interest in or experience applying AI and automation to compliance and audit processes

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
