Job Description Summary

The Director, Rebate Analytics is responsible for leading the development and operation of strategic analytics, financial performance, pricing strategy, and reporting functions supporting MedImpact's rebate economics outcomes. This role provides end-to-end leadership across enterprise analytics, client financial reporting, pricing methodology development, manufacturer rebate economics, and strategic business initiatives. This role serves as a key partner to executive leadership, Trade Relations, Sales, Finance, and Account Management teams to develop and implement innovative pricing structures that align organizational objectives, enterprise value strategies, and financial performance. This role has direct reports, as well as considerable internal and external indirect support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Lead strategic oversight of enterprise-wide rebate analytics and pricing models that create maximum value for the enterprise and client. Direct the development and implementation of financial strategies for internal and external parties. • Serve as an executive subject matter expert for rebate economics, pricing strategies, financial analytics, and client reporting methodologies. Provide recommendations to key leadership on key outcomes relating to pricing models, methodologies, and assumptions. • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Trade Relations, Clinical, Finance, Product, Technology, and Client Management teams to identify and capture opportunities for operational improvement, revenue optimization, and enhanced reporting capabilities. • Provide strategic consultation to internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners regarding pricing methodologies, rebate performance, financial results, and emerging market trends. • Direct, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics organization focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service. • Support business growth initiatives by evaluating financial impacts, pricing opportunities, client economics, and market competitiveness associated with prospective and existing client relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities          Manages assigned staff in the segment area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary.                                     Client Responsibilities This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients.

Education and/or Experience

BA/BS Degree required or equivalent; plus 12 years’ related experience; 10 years of SME in respective area(s); (or equivalent combination of education and experience); and 8 years supervisory experience; Supervisory experience may be substituted with 12 years of MedImpact experience plus an appropriate external leadership training program and internal mentorship with a seasoned leader at the Director level or above that must be  completed within 12 months in new position with a seasoned leader at the Director level or above that must be completed within 12 months in new position. 

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Others. Moderate experience with SQL, database applications, financial modeling tools, reporting platforms, and enterprise project tracking tools is required. Advanced Excel skills
