About this role

Job Overview: Develops and delivers reimbursement and health economics services for Fortrea clients. Serves as an expert strategic consultant and advisor for reimbursement-related projects. Key liaison between customers and healthcare providers and payers as well as governmental bodies in matters of policy. Works independently as well as in collaboration with Business Development to identify and solicit potential clients. This position includes responsibility for hiring, coaching, and delegating work to new staff and independent advisors as well as conducting performance reviews as needed.

Summary of Responsibilities: • Market and Sell Services - Contact and call on potential clients to explain the capabilities of the firm with a focus on health economics and reimbursement expertise. Work with Business Development in this capacity. Prepare and review proposals to provide consulting services to clients and execute contracts to provide services and identify opportunities to refer business to other groups or business units within Fortrea Medical Device and Diagnostics. • Prepare Proposals with Client Input - Reviews and revise draft health economics and reimbursement proposals/Work Orders that respond to client requirements following standard formats used for previous engagements. • Create Client Deliverables - Create work product for clients based on coverage, coding and payment rules, and economic models (i.e. white papers, abstracts, journal articles, presentations, and PC-based sales tools). • Develop Value Demonstration Strategies - Develops and implements reimbursement and economic evidence strategies for new and established products. • Monitor and implement reimbursement policies - Identify and track updates and changes to government policies (Medicare, etc.) as well as policy changes by other healthcare stakeholders including private payers and the AMA that could impact coding, coverage, and payment for medical device companies. Incorporate new policies into reimbursement support initiatives when appropriate. • Represent Fortrea to device industry and other organizations - Develop education material for presentations to medical device trade associations, startup incubators, investment groups, etc. via webinars, podcasts, in-person presentations and other means to promote Fortrea’s health economic and reimbursement expertise and capabilities. • Provide Leadership - Lead efforts to grow the health economic and reimbursement consulting business. Assist in the general marketing of opportunities for the regulatory and clinical groups within Fortrea Medical Device and Diagnostics and serve as a strategic consultant to staff and management as needed.

Commercial Acumen: • Has a good understanding of the industry, market and our clients and presents Fortrea’s reimbursement and health economics capabilities to clients. • Leads growth within medical devices and diagnostics; designs and develops winning solutions that result in a growing, profitable portfolio of business. • Owns client expectations and satisfaction; identifies, develops, and fosters new and existing client relationships at senior operational levels with clients, KOLs, vendor partners etc., and guides MDD team in delivering to establish/maintain effective client relationships. • Helps to develop and lead high quality end-to-end business development strategies, including RFI/RFP response, proposal, or work order development, bid defense preparation and presentations. • Partners with the BDD to drive more wins by customizing our proposal based on the customers’ needs and competitive landscape. • Drives end to end proposal operational strategy across the opportunity, leveraging our “Why Fortrea” messaging and differentiators. • Owns the strategy build and content for proposals. • Consults with internal SMEs and functional areas as appropriate. • Develops, attends, and may lead BDMs (complex opportunities/strategy).

Leadership: • Engages with Fortrea’s leadership to help drive and implement initiatives, including cross business area and functional integrated opportunities, to grow and expand the business. • Helps to define and implement the MDD vision and strategy; translates this into key initiatives and priorities; develops and delivers against objectives/plans; able to achieve results in a global, virtual, and complex environment; tracks and measures progress. • Partners with peers ensuring consistency (quality, standards, policies, processes, and practices) across the MDD business. • Effectively leads in a global, complex environment; sets clear expectations; coaches and mentors for success; consistently communicates and connects; fosters a continuous learning environment. • If manager, attracts, selects, on-boards, develops, and retains high performing talent; strengthens and deepens talent bench and succession. • Operational Leadership and Financial Acumen: • Leads portfolio growth and delivery, encompassing consistent quality. • Ensures allocated resources are aligned with current and projected work in terms of capability, quantity, timing, efficiency. • Part ownership for the success of the MDD business, including achieving objectives/metrics as assigned. These may include number of new client capability discussions resulting in RFP or proposal, opportunities closed, win %, etc.

Subject Matter Expertise: • Contributes to MDD commercial, operational, reimbursement and scientific leadership and direction, leveraging expertise from other functions as required. • Participates in training opportunities to advance knowledge MDD including new areas as MDD leadership sees fit, regulatory changes, GCP, etc. • Serves as a senior, strategic consultant to Fortrea clients and Fortrea staff. • Provides relevant strategic reimbursement counsel to MDD clients and project teams. • Prepares clients, sites, and MDD teams for regulatory inspections; participates in regulatory inspections for clients and MDD projects. • Provides leadership a
