MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience

Experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Associate Director of Sales in a similar sized property

Skills & Knowledge • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to lead, train, and mentor a sales team. • Proficiency in hotel sales systems, Microsoft Office, and PMS platforms. • Knowledge of STR, TravelClick, forecasting, budgeting, and sales productivity reporting. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Understanding of group and catering pace, marketing plans, and financial expectations.

Job Duties • Lead, train, and manage the Sales, Catering, and Conference Services teams. • Achieve or exceed budgeted revenues, RevPAR, and market penetration goals. • Develop and execute sales strategies, action plans, and team goals. • Oversee professional and timely proposals, contracts, and follow-up. • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management within the department. • Conduct sales calls, client entertainment, and site inspections; maintain strong account relationships. • Review and ensure accuracy of sales and group contracts. • Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing, forecasting, and business mix strategies. • Assist with annual budget, marketing plans, and quarterly ownership presentations. • Monitor team productivity, financial performance, and market conditions. • Create and distribute monthly sales reports to senior leadership. • Partner with Marketing on promotional strategies and brand visibility. • Maintain accurate sales records and respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours. • Address guest and client concerns and ensure corrective action. • Perform other duties as assigned.
