Position Overview This role will be based in Denver, CO. Following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible). Or remote, US.
The Director, Global Equity Management is responsible for leading the administration and governance of Vantage’s global equity and long-term incentive program. The role will serve as a subject matter expert across private-company equity, long-term incentive programs, and executive equity compensation. The Equity Manager reports to the Vice President of Total Rewards and partners closely with Compensation, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Payroll, HR, and external advisors. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience managing private-company equity programs and executive compensation, along with a broad understanding of equity practices across different company and ownership structures. They will be comfortable navigating complex transactions, sensitive information, and evolving program requirements with a high degree of discretion and judgment. This role will own day-to-day equity administration while building scalable processes, controls, reporting, systems, and governance to support Vantage’s continued growth.
Essential Job Functions • Manage the global equity program. Oversee grants, vesting, participant changes, transactions, forfeitures, and other activities across employee and executive populations.
• Administer the long-term incentive program. Manage the operational requirements of Vantage’s private-company LTIP, ensuring accurate administration, documentation, reporting, and participant support.
• Support executive equity. Partner with Executive Compensation and senior leaders on executive grants, new-hire awards, retention awards, performance-based incentives, and other complex or confidential equity arrangements.
• Establish strong governance and controls. Maintain accurate records, approval processes, policies, reconciliations, and controls to ensure equity transactions are accurate, timely, and appropriately authorized.
• Manage equity systems and vendors. Oversee equity administration platforms and external providers, ensuring data integrity, effective processes, and strong service delivery.
• Partner across Finance, Tax, Legal, and Accounting. Support equity accounting, valuation, tax, audits, reporting, and corporate transactions affecting the equity program.
• Improve the equity experience. Simplify processes and communications so employees and executives can clearly understand their awards, vesting, and related requirements.
• Build for scale. Identify opportunities to automate, improve reporting, strengthen controls, and create scalable processes as Vantage’s equity programs and employee population grow.
Job Requirements • 7+ years of experience in equity compensation, equity administration, executive compensation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering private-company equity or long-term incentive programs.
• Experience supporting executive equity compensation, including complex or highly confidential executive transactions.
• Broad understanding of equity and incentive practices across different company or ownership structures.
• Strong understanding of equity awards, vesting, transactions, forfeitures, tax withholding, and related processes.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and external advisors.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with equity administration platforms and related systems.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred • Experience with equity programs in both private and public company environments.
• Experience supporting an IPO, acquisition, recapitalization, or other significant equity event.
• Experience with global equity programs.
• Familiarity with ASC 718, Section 409A, and other equity-related requirements.
• Experience with Workday and/or leading equity administration platforms.

This role will provide the expertise and operational discipline required to effectively manage Vantage’s private-company LTIP and executive equity programs while bringing broader market perspective to how the program evolves. The successful candidate will help build the scalable infrastructure, controls, and processes needed to support Vantage’s next stage of growth.

Additional Details • Salary Range: $175,000- 200,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
