Director, Financial Planning

As a diversified, national organization, you’ll have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.   Position Purpose: Lead and direct the long-range budget & financial planning process, develop financial and strategic analysis, support executive leadership as required, special projects assigned. • Direct and maintain overall responsibility of the long-range 5 year planning model including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. • Create succinct financial analysis and reports in order to communicate relevant financial information to management for effective decision making. • Create templates and methodologies for managing budget data; optimize the use of systems to balance efficiency and end user experience • Drive effective reporting and analysis requirements for long-range plans. • Create methodology to transition long-range plan into annual budget process. • Participate as financial representative on special projects.

Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent relevant experience. 7+ years of financial planning/analysis experience. MBA, CPA, Public accounting or health care industry preferred. Strong budgeting, analysis, reporting and management experience required. Excel and Hyperion Planning software expertise preferred.

Pay Range: $148,000.00 - $274,200.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law , including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
