 About the Role: Responsible for strategic and people leadership of the Field Sales Training organization across multiple products, therapeutic areas, and commercial business units. Develops the Field Sales Training strategy and translates broader Commercial priorities into scalable learning, capability, and performance solutions that enable field teams to deliver business results. Provides second-line leadership to managers and experienced learning professionals, building organizational capability through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and a culture of continuous learning. Partners with senior Commercial and cross-functional leadership to identify current and future learning capability needs and oversees the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of initial, ongoing, launch, and advanced sales training using blended learning strategies aligned with adult learning principles and business objectives. _ Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): • Establishes and communicates the strategic direction, priorities, and operating model for Field Sales Training across multiple products, therapeutic areas, and commercial business units; translates Commercial strategy into actionable learning and capability plans
• Provides second-line leadership for the Field Sales Training organization, including leadership of people leaders and high-level individual contributors; selects, coaches, develops, mentors, and evaluates talent to ensure strong performance and effective operation of the function
• Builds a shared vision across Field Sales Training teams and creates clear alignment between team priorities, broader Commercial objectives, and Neurocrine strategic direction
• Oversees the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of field sales learning initiatives supporting new hire onboarding, ongoing and recurrent training, product launches, Plan of Action cycle meetings, disease state and product knowledge, selling skills, messaging, and other strategic capability priorities
• Drives a high-impact learning culture by assessing current and future sales capabilities, identifying performance gaps, and ensuring training solutions are appropriately scaled and tailored across distinct field teams and business needs
• Partners closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and other functions to shape and execute learning strategies that support brand, portfolio, and organizational priorities
• Leads cross-functional decision-making on learning priorities, resources, investments, and trade-offs, using data, business insight, and long-term organizational implications to guide decisions in complex or ambiguous situations
• Ensures all training content and programs comply with NBI Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Medical requirements and reflect high standards of adult learning, conduct, quality, and pharmaceutical industry compliance
• Continuously advances the effectiveness and efficiency of learning through innovative instructional approaches, blended and digital learning, learning technology, field reinforcement, measurement, and external best practices
• Establishes clear performance expectations and success measures for the Field Sales Training organization; monitors outcomes and uses learning analytics, business metrics, stakeholder feedback, and field insights to drive continuous improvement and measurable impact
• Leads talent assessment, succession planning, and targeted development to strengthen leadership capability, organizational bench strength, and readiness for future business needs
• Oversees departmental budgets, vendors, learning management system curriculum, control documents, resource allocation, meeting-related training operations, and financial reporting/analysis
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements: • BS/BA degree in an applicable field AND 12+ years of applicable experience, including significant experience in sales training, learning and development, commercial capability, or a similar relevant discipline OR
• Master's degree in an applicable field AND 10+ years relevant experience as noted above AND
• Demonstrated second-line leadership experience is preferred, with experience leading people leaders and high-performing teams AND
• Experience leading training teams
